Circulation Services
Welcome to our circulation services! We are dedicated to providing seamless access to our library materials. Below you will find important information regarding borrowing privileges, loan policies, holds and reserves, returns, fines, and more.
Borrowing Privileges
- Students: Maximum of 2 items, with a loan period of 2 weeks.
- Faculty and Staff: Maximum of 5 items, with a loan period of 4 weeks.
- Community Members: Maximum of 2 items, with a loan period of 2 weeks.
Patron Registration
To become a library user with full circulation rights, please visit our circulation desk with a valid school ID and proof of address.
Loan Policies
- Books: Loan period of 2/4 weeks, with the option to renew twice if there are no holds.
- Periodicals: Loan period of 1 week, no renewals.
- DVDs: Loan period of 1 week, no renewals.
- Audio Materials: Loan period of 2 weeks, no renewals.
- References materials: Not loaned.
Holds and Reserves
You can place a hold or reserve on currently checked out materials through our online catalog or by contacting our circulation desk. You will be notified via email when the items become available, and you have 5 days to pick them up.
Interlibrary Loan
If we don’t have the materials you need, you can request them through our interlibrary loan service. Visit our library or contact our interlibrary loan unit using the chat button at the butom left corner of this page for more information.
Returns
Please return borrowed materials to our circulation desk during operating hours. Damaged materials should be brought to the attention of any library staff for proper examination.
Fine and Fee Structure
Overdue Fines: N100 per day, per item.
Lost or Damaged Items: Replacement cost plus a processing fee of N1000. Unpaid fines may result in a suspension of borrowing privileges.
